An adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic "Great Expectations." Telling the story of Pip, a young who rises to wealth, deserts his true friends, and becomes humbled by his own arrogance, it also introduces one of the more colourful characters in literature: Miss Havisham. Originally set during the early 1800s, Yvette Owen's adaptation brings the characters into the 20th century and pitches them into the roaring '20s. Featuring a full ensemble cast with music and singers, this adaptation brings a refreshing twist to a classic tale.
