From 'The Lady Vanishes, December 2021 Programme
I joined The Frodsham Players in 2011 when I assisted with set construction and Front of House duties for A Voyage Around My Father, but, moved to Sound Design/Technician in November the same year for The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. And this is the role I have fulfilled in more than eighteen subsequent productions for the Players and more than fifteen productions for other companies including AHTC, Harlequins and Chester Little Theatre. I have been lucky enough to have been nominated on four occasions for The Cheshire Theatre Guild's 'Best Sound' award and astonishingly won it twice. Firmly loyal to theatre productions, I have occasionally mixed sound for a couple of local groups - one of which is still yet to disband!
