Ian started acting in the early 90’s, first at Wigan Little Theatre, before drifting into musicals with Hindley and Wigan ADS. More roles followed with the Newtown Players in St. Helen’s. After twenty years he returned to the stage with Frodsham Players as Banquo in Macbeth. Since then, he’s played a number of roles including Mister Tom in Goodnight Mister Tom, Rakitin in Three Days in the Country, Hatter and Gryphon in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Antipholus of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors. His most recent production with the Frodsham Players was as Detective Sargeant Mick Ross in Breaking the Code.
