David returned to acting when he retired sixteen years ago. He has enjoyed playing a variety of characters, especially comedy roles. But two more serious plays probably top his list - Doctor Shpigelsky in Three Days in the Country and Dillwyn Knox in Breaking the Code. “Being a member of this friendly drama group has been great fun.” he says. “It’s so important to encourage art and culture as a significant component for the building up of the local community”.
