Carole joined the Frodsham Players after retiring as Head of Creative Arts in a local Academy. Throughout her career she has directed, cajoled, and gently nagged her students through many productions. Her first role with the Players was as Mrs Northrop in When we are Married, a role that seemingly suited her down to the ground. In 2018 she returned to her first love – directing, when she directed At the Going Down of the Sun which was performed at St. Laurence’s Church on Remembrance Sunday. Since then, she has directed A Christmas Carol, The Lady Vanishes (for which she won Best Director at the NODA District Awards) in 2021 and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland in 2022.
Carole will be directing the Players autumn production of Breaking the Code.
